introduction

Today in class, we talked about introduction for the essay. It's all kind of ways you can write a introduction. You can start off with a quote or a question. If you can relate to the topic, you can add in your personal experience into as well. Facts and data statements are okay. Try to stay away from bold statements like "All of the people" and "Everyone does this"

So, there is a new class to register for the summer. The class is called BioGlish. It's English and Biology combined.  A short class during the summer. They will meet three times a week through May13- June 7. The class seems like it would be a fun class to get three extra credits. Also, you get to go on field trips and stuff. So hopefully people will sign up for it.

essay #3

Okay, so I think essay three is going to be a little easier to write. With the topics that we came up with in class, I feel like I have lot of choices to pick from. I have more random ideas that actually turn into a great paper. So shout out to whoever pick education.

brainstorming

So yesterday in class we did the usual brainstorming for topic for the third essay. It was fun like always, Just yelling out random topics for the essay. I really think we came up with some great topics for the essay. So if you missed class here is some of the topics.

new things

So we have a new schedule for the rest of the semester. We have to bring in a reading and have a lead discussion about that reading. I think this could be fun. We are more involved in what we read and talk about in class. It's kind of the same thing we did with our grammar schmammar groups. Plus I think it's a easy grade.

a new view

For Friday's class, we watch the spoof video of not legalizing weed. At first, I think it was funny and with no real meaning behind. Just a few people making fun of it. As we had the discussion in class, I understood their point of view. Maybe we shouldn't legalize it. Just decriminalize it so people cant get in trouble for it. That's seem fair to me.
